The Brentford Festival Organising Committee
is very grateful to our 2011 sponsors. Because we are a not-for-profit organisation, re-investing income back into the local park
and community, we rely heavily on financial support from our sponsors, without whom the event could not take place. This
sponsorship allows us to provide many more sporting, community and fun activities while, at the same time,
providing an excellent platform for companies, charities and organisations to benefit from fostering good relationships with the
estimated 12,000 visitors to this Festival in West London.
We would like to thank Isis for
supporting this year's Brentford Festival. ISIS Waterside Regeneration has been granted planning permission for the
regeneration of Brentford Lock West; a 6.4 hectare mixed use development which is set to transform the land surrounding
the historic waterways of the Grand Union Canal in Brentford, West London.
Owned by British Waterways, igloo
(the regeneration fund of Aviva) and MUSE
Developments,
Isis was created on a sound commercial basis; based on ethical principles with a different,
progressive approach to urban renaissance.
As described on their website, "Isis developments harness the natural strength of our waterways to create mixed, balanced,
diverse and genuinely sustainable communities. A great business puts people first, tackling
climate change and creating great places, in the knowledge that these fundamental drivers
add value to projects."
You can find more information about the proposed development in Brentford here.
Fuller Smith & Turner plc continue to support
the Brentford Festival, as they have done for several years, by providing real ale for the voluntary bar run by Friends of
Boston Manor. Friends of Boston Manor is a voluntary organisation who re-invest any profits into Boston Manor Park and local community.
The BF organising committee are also grateful to Fullers for supplying equipment and clothing for the volunteers.
These extracts from their website describe the Fuller's ethos: "As a company with a history stretching back hundreds of
years, Fuller’s is an integral part of the communities in which it
operates. Brewing has taken place on the brewery site in Chiswick, West London, since at least the 17th century and some
of our pubs have been in the company’s ownership for over 150 years..." "We try to take an active role in those communities
in a number of ways, from supporting charities and
organisations in the immediate vicinity of the brewery with financial support, to donating beer..." "We provide direct
financial contributions to numerous charities including Help for Heroes and The Poppy Appeal amongst others and we have
helped raise over £1m for Cancer Research UK through our support for the London Pride Walk and Fun Run, which has been
running annually since 1996. Please visit the
Fuller's website for full information about the brewery.
Now that we have our own
dedicated Brentford Festival website, we are able to offer further acknowledgment and visibility to our sponsors, not just locally in West
London but also nationally and internationally. Please visit our Festival 2010 page
for a full list of contributors last year.
There is also the added benefit for those sponsors who register with us early to be included in the 20,000 flyers which will
be hand delivered each year in advance of the Festival taking place. If you would like to sponsor this year's Brentford
Festival and have your logo and name appear on this website, please download our information pack here, or visit our
Applications page to download more information, including our AIMS and Constitution.
