The stage at the Brentford Festival offers
the opportunity for bands to entertain some of our 10,000 visitors.
We have hosted many new, vibrant bands and singers, such as Lizzie Massey (15 years old at the time); more mature bands,
such as the Oddfellas with their banjo, flute & mandolin and the
Riverboat Pirates playing traditional folk music;
tribute bands, such as Blue Onyx (Moody Blues tribute);
various larger combos such as the Equippers Church band and the 10 piece Havana Good Time Cuban music salsa band together with many Indie and Pop bands.
One of our regular performers has been Elaine Samuels who has often been accompanied by members of Kindred Spirit.
The printing and distribution of 15,000-20,000 Festival flyers, together with the press coverage, offers an excellent means for
bands and singers, new and old, to promote their music and for the visitors to enjoy this great mix of talents.
Music at last year's Festival was, as always,
provided by a great mix of performers. Please check out
the music that was provided by our visiting musicians here.
If you are a musician and are interested in playing at the
Brentford Festival, please check this year's web page for full information
about this year's Festival.
As last year's performers were excellent and there was a high demand for places, we will be
giving preference to local musicians, where possible, to play at this year's Festival.
We aim to achieve a community mix of artists and
musical styles. We will be selecting artists for the main stage with full PA and the walled garden stage for acoustic sets.
In 2010, we will be organising 'fringe' events during the week leading up to the Festival itself at local music venues (mostly pubs) -
details will be appear on this year's web page shortly.
So if you enjoy listening to, joining in
with or dancing to music, come along to soak up the atmosphere at Boston Manor Park. Keep checking this year's
web page for
updates about this year's artists.
